No longer a little boy-

This is a little late but things have been busy. Alan turned 13 on Thursday, so we officially have three teenagers with another very close behind. The kids started school on Thursday so not a lot of celebrating. Alan decided to go to Drifters for dinner where Grandma Tam, Trenton and the Elders joined our family.
After coming home an ice cream cake and presents were in order. The official birthday picture with all the kids and an overall good time.

Friday he was able to go to a sleepover with some friends from church so we took cupcakes. It ended up being a celebration for two other boys who had a birthday this week also. How fun to have two friends with birthdays so close. We are looking forward to having a break from birthdays in our house until May. Maybe we can quite eating sweets for a while! Happy Birthday Alan...here's to making this a great year as you truly enter into the wonderful world of being a teenager!

    Three teenagers! Yipes! We will be there one day too. Sounds like some fun celebrating, and I LOVE your family photo! Wonderful picture!

ROAD TRIP July 2009

Halloween 2009

Found an old picture of the kids in 2003. Thought it would be a fun way to see how much they've grown. Pretty soon I'll be lucky if they'll take a picture for me! 3 out of 5 pumpkins made it to the porch! David carved way too much and it sort of fell apart. (why it is on his head) Haley tripped on the front porch and the pumpkin flew to its end. While comforting Haley something happened to Reid's pumpkin and it ended up in 2 peices. We're just happy we got to carve pumpkins this year!
