On Sunday Haley was looking really tired. We told her to take a nap because she was getting dark circles under her eyes that she'll get when not sleeping well. When she woke up from her nap her face was so swollen. It was after 8 pm on Sunday night and we weren't sure what to do. Haley looked like she was in a bar fight. We frantically called a friend from church who is also a dentist. His sweet wife said he was out doing visits but that she would call him. So after what I'm sure was a very long day for him he came by our house. He looked at her face and said it was an abscessed tooth. We knew she had a loose tooth that wasn't budging but didn't think it would be this. This dentist took us to his office and with such wonderful patience and love numbed Haley up and performed a mini surgery to get the puss out and to pull the tooth.
She is getting better but is still swollen. Dad stayed home from work and she gets to hang out with me today. Not sure her teacher is ready to deal with the little slugger at school yet. Plus we don't want her getting teased. She is getting enough of that at home but think she is enjoying it. We are so thankful for the service that our friends could provide and that Haley was so tough. We are also glad that this part of it is over.

Oh no, poor Hailey! She looks so swollen. I bet that hurt terribly. I am glad you are on the downslope too. Yipes!
